After spending the first year of his career racing on other racer's used tires, Myan and Team Tonka no longer have to worry about having tires that can make it through a race. Mickey Thompson's support allows the team to focus on other aspects of the truck.
Stow, OH - Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels has added to its all-star Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series lineup with the sponsorship of Tonka Motorsports driver, Myan Spaccarelli.
Spaccarelli is the driver of the show-stopping Tonka Pro 2 competition truck, and this year the Tonka will compete with Mickey Thompson's legendary Baja Pro tires developed specifically for the demands of short course racing.
"We're returning to the series this year with an impressive lineup, and Myan is a great addition to the team," stated Ken Warner, VP of Marketing for Mickey Thompson. "Through our involvement in the series, Myan approached us for tires. We hooked him up with our Baja Pro's for his Tonka truck, and he loved them. Just about everyone grew up with at least one Tonka truck, and having Mickey Thompson alongside Tonka Motorsports to support Myan this season is pretty incredible."
Mickey Thompson was a legend. He was the first American to break the 400 MPH speed barrier. We're pretty sure these guys know what they're doing.
